The Anode Carbon Block Stacking Crane is a specialized overhead crane manufactured by Henan Mine, designed as the key equipment for handling and stacking both green (raw) and baked anode carbon blocks in carbon plants and aluminum electrolysis facilities . This crane features a high-rigidity double-box-girder bridge structure with a pure mechanical clamping device that uses a four-link gravity self-locking mechanism, requiring no external power source for opening and closing actions, and is equipped with overload protection for stable and reliable clamping force . Operating under heavy-duty classification A7 to A8 with lifting capacities of 19-27 tons (excluding clamp), the crane is capable of clamping 10-21 carbon blocks per cycle with stacking heights up to 8-9 layers, and includes a 5-ton auxiliary electric hoist for waste block removal and miscellaneous lifting tasks .

Application
Core Application – Anode Carbon Block Stacking Crane
1.Raw Anode Block Stacking in Assembly Workshops – Transfers and stacks green carbon blocks after forming from storage areas to baking furnace feed lines or temporary yards, with 19-21 blocks clamped per cycle for high-volume handling .
2.Baking Furnace Loading & Unloading – Loads raw anode blocks into ring furnaces or tunnel kilns and removes baked anodes at extreme temperatures (800-1200°C), equipped with high-temperature resistant clamps and heat insulation protection .
3.Baked Anode Cooling & Multi-Layer Stacking – Transports hot baked anodes to cooling stations after furnace discharge, then stacks cooled blocks in multi-layer configurations up to 9 layers high with laser positioning accuracy of ±2mm .
4.Waste Block Rejection & Qualified Block Insertion – Identifies and removes defective or cracked blocks from storage stacks using the auxiliary electric hoist, and inserts replacement qualified blocks back into production inventory .
5.Fully Automated Warehouse Management – Executes automatic block gripping, positioning, stacking, destacking, and truck loading operations with PLC + VFD control, real-time weight monitoring (0.5% accuracy), and remote data management via wireless transmission to central control rooms .
6.High-Temperature & Corrosive Environment Operation – Performs continuous material handling in harsh conditions with temperatures up to 1000°C, HF corrosive gas, carbon dust, and fluoride salts, featuring heat-resistant wire rope, corrosion-resistant components, and sealed electrical enclosures .

With PLC as the core, it integrates laser positioning (stacking position identification), barcode/RFID scanning (carbon block information traceability), and human-machine interaction interface (operation and monitoring), supports manual/automatic mode switching, and can be linked with the factory MES system.

The lifting and traveling mechanisms feature variable frequency speed regulation, low noise, low energy consumption, smooth operation, a speed regulation range of 1:10, and energy conservation and consumption reduction.

The special fixture (mechanical/hydraulic drive) adopts a shape design to fit the surface of the carbon block. It has adjustable clamping force (to prevent the carbon block from being crushed), anti-overturning buffer function, and some are equipped with rotary fine-tuning (to adapt to the deviation of the carbon block placement).
