The Dust Explosion Proof Electric Suspended Crane is a specialized overhead lifting solution manufactured by Henan Mine. This crane is specifically engineered for hazardous environments where combustible dusts —such as grain, flour, sugar, coal, sawdust, or powdered metals—may form explosive atmospheres .

Unlike standard suspended cranes that run on the bottom flange of runway beams, this dust explosion-proof series incorporates comprehensive safety features to prevent ignition sources in dust-laden environments. The crane meets both gas explosion-proof and dust explosion-proof requirements, with applicable hazardous areas including Zone 21 (dust likely to occur in normal operation) and Zone 22 (dust unlikely to occur in normal operation, but if does, will only persist for a short period) .

The crane consists of an I-beam or box-section main girder, end carriages with anti-shedding devices, dust explosion-proof electric hoists (BCD/BMD/HB type), and an integrated electrical control system with sealed, dust-tight enclosures. All moving components feature stainless steel or non-sparking materials to eliminate friction-induced sparks .

It is applicable to combustible dust environments in Zone 21/22 such as flour mills, feed mills, wood processing, aluminum powder/metal dust, coal powder, chemical dust, and pharmaceutical dust.
