Product Introduction
The Rail Crossing Crane is a specialized overhead lifting solution manufactured by Henan Mine (Models: XG/LXG/KSX Type). This crane is specifically engineered for multi-bay industrial facilities where material handling is required across two or more adjacent workshop bays, such as power plants (coal mill maintenance bays), heavy machinery assembly workshops, and multi-span warehouses .
Unlike conventional overhead cranes that are confined to a single bay or runway system, the Rail Crossing Crane incorporates a purpose-designed rail crossing (track transfer) mechanism that enables the lifting mechanism to seamlessly move from one set of tracks to another . This eliminates the need for separate cranes in each bay or ground-level transport equipment such as forklifts or flatbed carts, streamlining material flow and reducing equipment duplication costs .
The rail-crossing crane is a type of lifting equipment specially designed for special working conditions. It is mainly used for the maintenance of coal grinding systems in power plants and cross-regional material transfer. Its core function is to achieve seamless transfer of equipment between different tracks through the track switching system.

Application
This crane is designed for transferring heavy loads between two or more workshops with different or intersecting rail systems. It eliminates the need for intermediate handling equipment, ensuring seamless material flow across production lines.
The crane system typically consists of five core components :
1.Main Trolley (Primary Crane): An electric double-girder or single-girder suspension crane that provides the primary lifting capacity and traverses the main runway.
2.Auxiliary Trolley (Secondary Crane): One or more additional suspension cranes positioned in adjacent bays or at designated maintenance stations.
3.Electric Hoist (Hoist Trolley): The actual lifting mechanism (wire rope hoist) that transfers between the main and auxiliary trolleys.
4.Rail Locking Device: The patented core component (Patent No. ZL200820147815.2) that aligns and locks the main and auxiliary rails during the crossing operation .
5.Electrical Control System: Unified push-button or remote control system with integrated limit switches, proximity sensors, and photoelectric switches to automate the rail crossing sequence .
Core Applications:
1.Power Plants (Coal Mill Rooms): The primary application — installing and maintaining ball mills and coal pulverizing systems where space is extremely narrow and multiple service positions are required .
2.Heavy Manufacturing Workshops: Transferring large components (generator rotors, turbine parts, transformer cores) between assembly bays without ground transport.
3.Multi-Bay Warehouses: Moving long or bulky items (steel pipes, extruded profiles, precast concrete beams) across adjacent storage areas.
4.Railway Maintenance Facilities: Servicing locomotives or railcars across multiple parallel tracks.
Features
1
Compact in structure, it can achieve cross-track material transfer, especially suitable for the fixed-point maintenance and precise lifting requirements of large equipment in heavy industrial plants
2
The crane tracks are installed at a high position to maximize the utilization of ground space.
3
This model supports non-standard customization and can adjust parameters such as lifting capacity, lifting height and running speed as needed.
