Product Introduction
The Container Bridge Crane (STS/RTG/RMG Type) is a specialized heavy-duty container handling system manufactured by Henan Mine, designed for loading/unloading shipping containers at ports, container terminals, railway freight stations, and container storage yards. This crane features a robust double-box-girder or truss bridge structure with a telescopic spreader compatible with 20ft, 40ft, and 45ft containers, equipped with anti-sway technology for precise positioning, anti-collision devices, and high-speed lifting mechanisms with AC variable frequency drives. Operating under duty class A6 to A8 for continuous 24/7 port operations, fourth-generation models achieve lifting capacity up to 70 tons under spreader, lifting height up to 42 meters, and outreach up to 70 meters to accommodate ultra-large container vessels.
The Container Bridge Crane is a heavy-duty container handling system specifically designed for ports, container terminals, railway freight stations, and container storage yards. It is available in two main configurations: Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes for loading and unloading vessels at quayside, and Rubber-Tyred or Rail-Mounted Gantry cranes (RTG/RMG) for yard stacking and truck transfer operations.

Application
The Container Bridge Crane is a specialized container handling system designed for ports, container terminals, railway freight stations, and container storage yards. It encompasses two main types: Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes for vessel loading/unloading at quayside, and Rubber-Tyred/Rail-Mounted Gantry cranes (RTG/RMG) for yard stacking and truck transfer operations. Equipped with dedicated telescopic spreaders compatible with 20ft, 40ft, and 45ft containers, these cranes feature high-speed lifting mechanisms, advanced anti-sway systems, anti-collision devices, and optional automation technology including remote control and GPS positioning. Fourth-generation models achieve lifting capacities up to 70 tons under spreader, lifting heights up to 42 meters, and outreach up to 70 meters for accommodating ultra-large container vessels. Typical specifications include lifting capacity from 30.5 to 70 tons, span from 16 to 35 meters (STS) or 23.47 meters (standard RTG), lifting height from 15 to 42 meters, duty class A6 to A8, lifting speeds from 12 to 46 m/min, power supply 380V-660V/50-60Hz or diesel-electric for RTG models, and ambient temperature range from -25°C to +45°C.
Core Applications – Container Bridge Crane
1.Port Quayside Ship-to-Shore (STS) Operations – Loads and unloads containers from container ships, feeder vessels, and barges at dock-side terminals, using telescopic spreader to handle 20ft-45ft boxes at speeds of 12-46 m/min for rapid vessel turnaround.
2.Container Yard Stacking (RTG/RMG) – Stacks containers 3-6 high in storage yards, transfers boxes between stacking rows, and services trucks or rail cars for inbound/outbound container flow in marine terminals.
3.Railway Intermodal Terminals – Transfers containers between freight trains and trucks or storage stacks at inland rail depots, with multi-trolley configurations allowing simultaneous loading/unloading of multiple rail cars.
4.Empty Container Handling Depots – Manages empty container storage and dispatch, stacking empty boxes up to 8-9 high and sorting by size and condition for reuse or repair.
5.Barge & Inland Waterway Terminals – Handles containerized cargo on river barges at inland ports, with low-headroom designs for operation under bridges and compact layouts for constrained urban sites.
6.Automated Terminal Operations – Performs fully automated container handling with GPS positioning, laser scanning, and remote control systems, enabling unmanned operation for 24-hour productivity with real-time inventory tracking.
