The Double-Trolley Electromagnetic Hook Dual-Purpose Gantry Crane is a versatile heavy-duty lifting solution manufactured by Henan Mine, featuring two independent trolleys on a robust double-girner gantry structure—one equipped with an electromagnet for handling ferrous scrap, plates, coils, and billets, and the other with a standard hook for heavy individual loads such as machinery, containers, and structural components . This crane combines the space-saving L-type or U-type leg design (allowing trucks or rail cars to pass under) with the operational flexibility of dual-trolley configuration, enabling both trolleys to work separately for simultaneous material handling or synchronize for coordinated lifting of extra-long loads .
The electromagnet system includes a silicon-controlled rectifier converting AC to DC power, an emergency battery backup maintaining magnetic force for 10-30 minutes during power failures, and forced demagnetization for instant load release . Typical specifications include lifting capacity from (5+5) to (16+16) tons (magnet) and (5+5) to (50+50) tons (hook), spans from 10.5 to 35 meters, lifting heights from 6 to 30 meters, working duty class A6 to A8, and operating temperature from -20°C to +50°C .

The linkage console is equipped with a PLC module and a human-machine interface touch screen, and is fitted with a WLK type master controller. The touch is clear, the gear positions are distinct, and it has a zero position self-resetting and locking device.

The suction and release actions of the electromagnet are controlled by the on-off of the current, with a response time of only 0.5 to 1 second. During the transportation of steel parts, 80 to 100 grasping cycles can be completed per hour, significantly enhancing the efficiency of continuous operations.

Through finite element analysis to optimize the force distribution in the main beam, support legs and end beam areas, it has excellent rigidity and anti-deformation capacity.
