Product Introduction
The Gantry Crane with Electric Hoist is a cost-effective, light-to-medium duty material handling solution manufactured by Henan Mine, featuring an electric wire rope hoist (typically CD1/MD1 type) mounted on a single-beam or double-beam gantry structure for lifting loads from 1 to 20 tons. This crane consists of a box-section or truss main girder, sturdy legs (L-type, U-type, or straight), a cross beam with traveling wheels (rail-mounted or rubber-tired), and an electric hoist that travels along the lower flange of the main beam, with working duty class A3 to A5 for general industrial applications. The crane offers flexible power supply options including cable reels or sliding contact lines, multiple control methods (pendant, remote, or cabin), and optional features such as variable frequency drive for smooth operation, anti-sway technology, and low headroom design for space-constrained facilities.
The electric hoist gantry crane is a widely used type of lifting machinery at present. Its lifting mechanism is an electric hoist. It is supported on the ground tracks by the two side legs and runs on the ground. It can load, unload and transport materials and equipment in intermittent and repetitive ways in general working environments, and has the functions of vertical lifting, longitudinal and lateral movement. The outer side of the legs is equipped with a cantilever, which is convenient for transporting items from the inter-space to the outside of the span. It can also be without a cantilever.

Application
The Electric Hoist Gantry Crane is widely used for outdoor material handling in workshops, warehouses, construction sites, precast concrete yards, steel service centers, shipyards, and logistics hubs. Powered by a reliable electric hoist, it provides smooth lifting, precise positioning, and efficient travel along ground rails or rubber tires. Its sturdy gantry design eliminates the need for building-mounted runways, making it an ideal solution for areas without permanent overhead crane systems, especially for lifting steel beams, concrete components, pipes, and containers.
Core Applications – Gantry Crane With Electric Hoist
1.Warehouses & Logistics Centers – Loads, unloads, stacks, and retrieves pallets, finished goods, and raw materials in storage yards and distribution facilities with rail-mounted or mobile configurations.
2.Construction Sites & Precast Yards – Transports steel reinforcement, cement bags, precast concrete components, and construction materials in open staging areas where overhead cranes cannot be installed.
3.Steel Coil & Pipe Storage Yards – Lifts and transfers steel coils, pipes, structural beams, and rebar bundles, with mobile design allowing relocation between different storage zones.
4.Manufacturing Workshops – Handles machinery components, assemblies, and raw materials in fabrication shops with low headroom or where building structures cannot support overhead bridge cranes.
5.Ports & Outdoor Terminals – Loads and unloads containers, general cargo, and equipment from trucks and rail cars in port back-up areas and container freight stations.
5.Scrap Yards & Recycling Facilities – Moves scrap metal, waste materials, and recycling bins with rubber-tired gantry configuration for flexible operation across large outdoor yards.
