The L-Type Gantry Crane is a versatile, space-efficient lifting solution manufactured by Henan Mine, featuring a distinctive L-shaped single-leg design on one side while the opposite leg runs on a ground rail or building column, providing exceptional clearance under the crane for trucks, rail cars, and long cargo transport. This crane consists of a box-section or truss main girder, an L-shaped leg (providing large open space for material passage), a straight leg or suspended side on the opposite end, an electric hoist (CD1/MD1 type or European-style hoist) or wire rope trolley as the hoisting mechanism, and a lower crossbeam with traveling wheels.
The L-leg configuration reduces overall machine height while maintaining lifting height compared to conventional gantry cranes, saving construction costs and improving workspace efficiency. Typical specifications include lifting capacity from 3 to 50 tons, spans from 12 to 35 meters, lifting heights from 6 to 18 meters, working duty class A3 to A5 (light to medium duty), ambient temperature from -25°C to +40°C, and control options including cabin operation, ground pendant, or wireless remote with optional cantilever design, variable frequency drive, and weatherproof covers for outdoor use.

Application
The MDG type side-hanging gantry crane features a single main beam structure. Its hoisting mechanism adopts a winch mechanism, with L-shaped outriggers. It has a rated lifting capacity of 5 to 50 tons and a span of 18 to 35 meters. It is suitable for open-air loading and unloading, such as in freight yards and docks.
