The Truss Gantry Crane is a lightweight, cost-effective rail-mounted lifting solution manufactured by Henan Mine, featuring a triangular truss structure welded from angle steel or I-beam that offers excellent wind resistance, light dead weight, and simple construction for outdoor material handling operations . This crane is used together with CD1, MD1, or other models of electric hoists, with the hoist traveling along the lower flange of the main beam's I-beam to complete lifting operations, and the gantry frame consisting of a main truss beam, legs, lower crossbeam, traveling mechanism, and electrical control system .

The truss structure provides significant advantages including strong wind resistance (wind pressure less than 125Pa), small windward side, easy installation and maintenance, and lower manufacturing cost compared to box-type gantry cranes . Typical specifications include lifting capacity from 3 to 32 tons (standard up to 20 tons), spans from 12 to 30 meters (customizable to 35 meters), lifting heights from 6 to 9 meters (customizable up to 12 meters), working temperature range from -20°C to +40°C, and working duty class A3 to A5 . The crane supports multiple control methods including ground pendant control, wireless remote control, and cabin control, and is forbidden to be used for lifting molten metal, flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials .

The structure is lightweight and has a low self-weight. It is constructed using steel angle or steel section welding. This structure is designed based on the principles of bridges and utilizes the stability of triangles to achieve the goal of bearing the maximum load with the least amount of materials.
